Hamilton Weston Wallpapers was established in 1981 by interior designer Georgina Hamilton and architectural historian Robert Weston.

With a passion for historic designs and their heritage, a unique archive of period wallpaper fragments evolved, discovered as a result of restoration work from across the world. It is these historic papers that form the basis of Hamilton Weston’s wallpaper collections today. 

Their reproduction Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian wallpapers decorate historic homes, elegant restorations of treasured buildings and period film, TV and theatre sets. Working with innovative craftspeople enables us to offer an exceptional range of wallpapers for distinctive unusual and contemporary interiors.

They are especially proud to have worked on many prestigious in-house discoveries and Museum commissions including Turner’s House Museum at Sandycombe Lodge in East Twickenham, Jane Austen’s House Museum in Chawton Nr. Alton Hampshire, Cardigan Castle in Wales and Uppark House and Garden in Sussex.

Designs have appeared in an array of films and TV productions: among the most recent film releases include The Darkest Hour, Mary Poppins Returns, The Good Liar, and Red Joan, to name a few.

All of their wallpapers can be custom coloured to suit the specific requirements of your home or project. They frequently develop designs from clients’ vintage fabrics, maps, prints, photographs, drawings or artefacts.
